(jacket from H&M, crop top from Charlotte Russe, pants from Forever 21, heels from Zara, photos by Jae)

I'm experimenting with crop tops again! Actually, this top incorporates two trendscropped and striped. Also, I'm pretty sure the last time I wore a turtleneck was in third grade and I swore I would never wear them again (oops). I'm still getting used to the whole crop top trend. It was pretty chilly when I wore this outfit and the exposed midriff did not help... hopefully I can bust out the crop tops again when it gets warmer.

Today is my last day at home for Spring Break, and, unfortunately, I'm using today to catch up on a lot of schoolwork. But on the bright side, I'm also doing some work for the blog today. Can't believe it's almost April; March went by so quickly! Also can't believe that I'll be a college junior in less than two months. It's been a tough year and I can't wait for summer.

BTW, this post is named after my favorite crayon color. :)

Ambivalence

(cardigan and harem pants from Forever 21, crop top from Charlotte Russe, knotted sandals from Foreign Exchange)

I couldn't decide whether to wear this outfit with a cardigan or without a cardigan or with another jacket altogether, hence the title. I was never really a fan of crop tops but I decided to give them a try because I've been seeing a lot of bloggers wear them. These pants are really just a fancier version of sweatpantsthey were so comfortable that I wore them for the whole day, even at home.

Today is my last day in Berkeley before Spring Break! I'm going home tonight and I can't wait to spend time with friends and family. Cheers to a short week :)

(jacket from H&M, beanie, crop top, and shorts from Forever 21, combat boots from GoJane, photos by Jae)

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Quick post for today. This is basically one of my go-to outfits when I'm feeling lazy. It incorporates some of my favorite piecesbeanie, my fav felt/pleather jacket, and combat boots.

In other news, Spring Break is just around the corner and I can't wait to spend a week catching up on sleep, seeing some of my favorite people, and eating good food. One more week!

Acid Flowers

(acid-wash denim jacket from Forever 21, white button-up from Ross, floral tank from American Rag Clothing, trousers from H&M, heels from Zara)

Such a long week! So exhausted and so glad it's over. I'm officially done with my first set of midterms (including that horrible probability midterm...shudder) and I'm celebrating by taking a trip away from Berkeley for the weekend. I hope to come back refreshed and ready for next week's challenges.

I tried to do a sort of pseudo-menswear look by wearing a white button-up, a patterned "vest" (really just a sleeveless top), and black trousers. I made the look a little more casual with a denim jacket. I love how the acid-washed denim matches well with the monochrome floral print of the top.

Have a great weekend!

Salt and Pepper

(cardigan, vest, dress, and booties from Forever 21)

Happy Friday! It's been a busy week, but the weather is lovely today and I can't wait to take enjoy this day and take a walk in the warmth before I return to my workload.

I'm trying to diversify more by buying and styling clothing from new brands, but I seem to have accidentally worn the same brand for this entire outfit. Haha sigh, next time... I love how the vest gives a pseudo-lapel to the cardigan. The outfit probably would have been just fine without it, but it's nice to differentiate. I opted for tan booties instead of black ones to add a little bit of color to this otherwise monochrome outfit.
